John Litwinovich is a musician and composer for film and television. He has composed music for more than 50 films including 10 Oscar-nominated scores and two Academy-Award winning scores. His clients include directors such as Barry Levinson, Martin Scorsese, Sidney Lumet, Robert Redford and Sydney Pollack. He has also written theme songs for TV shows such as "ER," "NYPD Blue," "The Nanny," "Desperate Housewives," and "The West Wing." Most recently he has written the score for the feature film "Heaven's Door," and his score and songs can be heard on its soundtrack CD
Litwinovich holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of North Texas College of Music.
